Project Summary

Gardner Zemke was part of the Design-Build Team of M. A. Mortenson as Prime Contractor, Black & Veatch as Architect / Engineer, and Gardner Zemke as Design-Assist Mechanical and Electrical Subcontractor.

 This project consists of twelve Company Operations Facility (COF) buildings totaling 181,560 square feet of administration area, 536,114 square feet of readiness area and 122,110 square feet of hard stand area.

 The VAV Mechanical System for the administration area is serviced by a central air handling unit with DX cooling and a remote air cooled condenser. The readiness areas were designed using evaporative cooling and heating only make up the air units. The project also included furnishing and installing electrical conduit, wire, devices, fire alarm, mass notification, telephone, data, grounding, lightning protection, light fixtures, and switchgear.
