Project Summary
The project is situated just outside of Santa Teresa, New Mexico which is only a few miles North of the U.S. Border with Mexico. The project is on a 2,200 acre site with 27 buildings which support functions from administration to fueling to water treatment.
Over 800,000 feet of underground concrete encased conduit was installed in duct banks which required the installation of over 850 precast concrete manholes. The project included two primary substations with overhead service feeds from the local utility, 35 -15kV pad mounted transformers, and 13 emergency diesel generators with automatic transfer switches through 1,750 KW.
A plant-wide automated control system was furnished and all of the facilities were interconnected with nearly 3 million linear feet of cabling from low voltage through 15kV power cable.
168 site lighting poles were installed from 40’ to 100’mast to illuminate this site which operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
